Help at fundraising events
Helping at fundraising events is one of the most powerful ways to support your community beyond the front lines.
It’s what keeps initiatives like LS3 CPSF running and sustainable over time. The majority of funds go toward essential staffing, as well as communication systems, equipment and ongoing operational costs, all of which ensure that response teams remain active, visible, and effective.
But beyond the resources, these events also bring people together, building a stronger sense of community pride and shared responsibility. By getting involved, you’re not just contributing financially, you’re helping create a safer, more connected neighbourhood for everyone.

Pierre van Ryneveld alone is home to more than 6,000 households, yet fewer than 5% currently contribute towards this vital community service. While we are incredibly grateful to the residents who already support us, we need more of our community to get involved to ensure these essential services can be sustained and strengthened.
Your contributions help fund essential staffing, communication systems, equipment and daily operations. The resources needed to keep our community connected, coordinated and supported. You don't have to make a big contribution to make a big difference.
